An independent studio that makes few things and keeps them working. The first is ATHEON, a workout and run tracker that keeps your training on your phone.
ATHEON has no backend to send anything to. There is no login, no cloud sync, no analytics, no advertising and no crash reporting, so there is no version of this app in which your training is held somewhere you cannot reach.
Plan the session, record it set by set, and keep the history, with run tracking, timers and an exercise library in the same app. Free on iOS and Android.

Every claim on this page is a fact about how the app is built, not a promise about how it is operated. Here is the whole route your data takes.

And out again only when you say so: export writes a file to a destination you pick. That is the single route your training data has out of the app.
Six capabilities, each one working with the phone in aeroplane mode.
| Capability | What it does | Runs |
|---|---|---|
| Workout programmes | Build training days, then record sets, reps, weight and notes as you lift. | On device |
| GPS run tracking | Record route, distance, duration, pace and splits from the phone’s own GPS. | On device |
| History and best efforts | Weekly volume, streaks, best efforts, and every session you have logged. | On device |
| Timers | Rest, exercise and run timers, with optional local notifications. | Local only |
| Exercise library | Searchable and grouped by muscle category, built into the app. | Bundled |
| Export | Write programmes and workout history to a file you choose. | Manual |
MCVC is independent, which mostly means the decisions stay close to the product. There is no roadmap written to fill a quarter and no feature shipped to satisfy a metric.
We would rather maintain one app properly than launch three and leave them. ATHEON has no subscription, so there is no recurring revenue arguing for engagement over usefulness, which is the point.
When something is ready, it ships. When it is not, it waits. That is the whole method.
